## 白话译文

〈南阳太守喜欢为百姓兴办利益，制作均水刻石立在田边，采访使奏报烦扰，诉称是为了防止忿争。〉

乐都既已安康，太守成就法式。念及耒耜耕作的功劳，而不鲁莽；开设均水的办法，以防忿争。所以经界不正，人将生异心，土田增加，职竞用力。规子木偃瀦之政，思桓公障谷之盟，畚锸星繁，沟塍绮错。孙叔敖之霸全楚，意在陂塘；邵信臣之典南阳，名因溉灌。兴利除害，而人不争，虽歉㱂之荐及，因京坻之有望。俾知涯分，无废函活。何使司之不明，而劾奏之非允。昔邓晨开梦，理鸿隙而涤源；何敞效能，流鲷阳而刻石。揆今度古，自合激扬；纠谬绳愆，妄云烦扰。以兹获戾，不亦太过乎？
