在会昌六年，岁次景寅，三月壬寅朔二十六日丁卯，皇帝这样说：惟

玄穹

降下福祚，开启我大唐的国运，累世重光，赫赫相继承继。列圣顾盼，敷布保佑于冲幼愚昧之身，得以继承大宝，君临万民。惧怕不能胜任，日夜兢兢戒惧，恭敬侍奉九庙，至今七年。实在依赖宗庙社稷的威灵，三公的辅佐，忠良竭尽全力，内外同心。北面剪除山戎，东面歼灭孽竖，不失传付的基业，正期望仁寿的安宁。适逢颐养护理或有亏失，寒暑导致疾病，祷神服药，有加无减。于是（阙）亲贤而委付家国。皇太叔术勾当军国政事。忱，温慈睿哲，孝友端明，蕴藏东平为善之心，崇尚河间好学之志，必能覆盖煦育天下，穆清大中。於戏！惟敬惟和，克敏克宽，斥去奇邪，亲近任用仁人。因此最终升任元后，宜令某官奉册，即皇帝位。敬顺天道，缉熙帝图，勉哉敬哉！
