重定贈工部尚書馬暢諡議

马畅继承先人旧业，历任显要官职，家中富有财产，以奢侈放纵自处，不能安抚嫂嫂和侄子，使他们离散。他谋求进取，追逐利益像转动圆环一样顺畅；他在家中，驾驭下属像捆束湿物一样严酷。所以当时的舆论鄙视他。谨按照《国史》：宇文士及居家奢侈放纵，谥号为“纵”。马畅的立身行事，与士及相同，请求以“纵”作为谥号。
