請勤政誡逸疏

臣听说沉迷女色、沉迷田猎，《尚书》把它作为最大的警戒。前代失德的君主，很少不是由此而导致颠覆危险的。所以声色就使心耳淫逸，消散人的精神；驰马就陷入倾覆歪倒，变故发生在衔橛之间。这是前代圣主贤臣，最为深加警戒的。因此周公作《无逸》篇，而成王达到治理；汉文帝冒驰骋险峻的危险，而袁盎进谏。都是事理明白切要，写成格言。如今陛下继承大业之初，万方仰望聆听之际，尤其需要安静谨慎，以符合观望听察。可是十天一个月以来，游幸没有节制，优戏在旁，驰驱没有限度。臣因此对内忧虑深识的贤人，担心难以兴起谤议；对外恐惧轶才的兽，车毂可忧。希望远览古代圣人，稍停游玩，怡神于闲暇，放眼于经书。在安定中求治道，传美声于永代。实在是天下非常幸运！
