山亭思友人序

高兴之后，半夜起身观看，举目四望，风冷月清。邻居张氏，有座山亭，洞壑横分，奇峰直上，郁郁然有造化之功。唉！大丈夫承受帝王的雨露，面对清平的日月，文章可以经纬天地，器局可以吞吐江河，七星可以气冲，八风可以调合。独行万里，觉得天地空阔，高枕百年，看见生灵龌龊。虽然俗人不识，下士徒然轻视，但顾视天下，也可以覆盖寰中的一半了。可惜这座山有月，此地无人，清风入琴，黄云对酒。虽然形骸真性，得礼乐于身中；而宇宙神交，卷烟霞于物外。至于开辟翰苑，扫荡文场，得宫商的正律，受山川的杰气。虽然陆平原、曹子建，足可以用车装斗量；谢灵运、潘安仁足可以膝行肘步。思飞情逸，风云坐宅于笔端；兴洽神清，日月自安于调下云尔。
