命皇太子即位冊文

贞元二十一年，岁次乙酉，正月辛未朔二十三日癸巳，皇帝这样说：呜呼！天下之大，实是重要的宝器；祖宗的事业，确实属于元良。咨问你皇太子诵，睿智明哲、温和恭敬，宽厚仁慈、恩惠。文武之道，禀承于生而知之；孝友之诚，发自于天性。自从承继上嗣，在春闱培育德行，谨慎于自身，恭敬勤勉于大训，必定能够大力施行至善的教化，安抚劝勉众邦。我卧病弥留，不能起身不能醒来，因此命你继承统绪，使你绍继前烈，应当升登元后之位，永远安宁万民。命令中书侍郎同中书门下平章事高郢奉上册书，即皇帝位。你要奉顺天道，来安康四海，努力建立皇极，来使百官光明。不要辱没我高祖太宗的美好命令。
